Venue<\/h3>\n

P.J.O\u2019Brien\u2019s believes in the Responsible Service of Alcohol
\nWe enforce RSA and Patron Code of Conduct at all times
\nWe have developed an Alcohol Management plan to prevent intoxication within the venue<\/p>\n

Staff<\/h3>\n

All bar staff are RSA trained and supported by management in enforcing this policy.
\nP.J.O\u2019Brien\u2019s bar staff will do the following to the best of their ability:
\nEncourage the responsible service of Alcohol
\nNot serve anyone who is underage
\nNot serve anyone who is already intoxicated
\nDiscourage people from taking part in activities that may cause harm
\nPractice our Smart Shout Policy by issuing free bottled water to customers during peak times
\nand to anyone they think needs hydration<\/p>\n

Security<\/h3>\n

Our crowd controllers work with our Management and Staff to enforce our RSA policy. Crowd
\ncontrollers do the following:
\nPrevent entry to minors
\nPrevent entry to intoxicated people
\nPrevent overcrowding of the venue
\nSafely assist with the removal of patrons who have been asked to leave the licensed premises if
\nit is deemed that the patron has not adhered to our Patron Code of Conduct
\nAre aware of all transport options for our patrons
\nPractice our Smart Shout Policy<\/p>\n

Management<\/h3>\n

Management has a duty of care for our staff and patrons and adopts a serving strategy to create
\nthe right balance between a safe environment and a fun venue for our patrons to enjoy
\nthemselves.
\nManagement:<\/strong>
\nAdopt a Patron code of conduct
\nTrain and support staff in RSA practices
\nProvide good lighting and airflow, do not over crowd the venue, provide adequate seating, the
\nright balance between men and women in the venue, well trained staff, crowd controllers and
\nexcellent customer service
\nEncourage staff and security to practice our Smart Shout Policy<\/p>\n

Patron Code of Conduct<\/h3>\n

By entry to the premises of P.J.O\u2019Brien\u2019s patrons agree to comply with the venues Code of
\nConduct and the conditions set out within it.
\nTo abide by the P.J.O\u2019Brien\u2019s Patron Code of Conduct you will:
\nComply with any reasonable direction of management or staff
\nAccept responsibility for your actions at all times
\nBe able to prove that you are over 18 years of age in line with Liquor Licensing guidelines
\nBe refused service and asked to leave the premises if you become intoxicated, violent, indecent
\nor disorderly.
\nRecognise that the comfort and safety of all patrons is of paramount importance to the
\nmanagement and staff of this establishment
\nRespect the property and rights of others
